As per the decision, inspection teams will pay visits to drug stores and enterprises to check certification, advertisement of cosmetic products, nutritional supplement, herbs and traditional medicines.
The teams will tour to check units in 18 cities and provinces including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, the northern provinces of Lang Son, Lao Cai, Quang Ninh, Dien Bien, Hai Phong, the central provinces of Quang Tri, Quang Binh, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, the highlands provinces of Kon Tum, Dak Lak, and the southern provinces of Can Tho, Dong Thap, Tay Ninh, Kien Giang, Ba Ria – Vung Tau.
Additionally, the Ministry asked local administrations to set up inspection teams to check smuggled drugs, commercial defrauds, manufacturing substandard commodities, circulation of goods and such.
