Miss World 2007 Zang Zi Lin landed in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday before embarking on a series of humanitarian and social activities across Viet Nam whose Nha Trang resort city is to hold the Miss Universe 2008 on July 14.

During her stay in the Southeast Asian country from June 28 to July 10, the 24-year old beauty queen is expected to visit poor families, child and HIV/AIDS centers in HCMC, Ha Noi, Khanh Hoa, Quang Ninh, Tien Giang and Lao Cai.
She will also visit Nha Trang to attend a flower parade next Monday welcoming the 57th Miss Universe contest.
This is Zang’s second trip to Viet Nam. The first was a year and a half ago, before she won the crown.
She was accompanied by Miss World Organization’s Chairwoman and President Julia Morley and the first runner-up to Miss Vietnam World, Teresa Sam,
Vietnamese-American Hoang Kieu, chairman of US company RASS which sponsors the Miss World’s humanitarian activities in Viet Nam, told local media he invited Morley to drop by as a preliminary step towards applying to host Miss World contest in 2010 in Viet Nam.
