Japanese retailing chain for affordable fashion and lifestyle products, Miniso has opened two stores in Ho Chi Minh City on December 17 as it continues its rapid Asian expansion.
The stores are located at the No.27 Tran Hung Dao street and at No.78 Nguyen Hue street in Districtr 1.
More than 50 percent of thousands of products, including fashion accessories, electronics, homewares and beauty products are sold at prices starting from VND43,000 or about US$2.
Mr. Miyake Junya, global co-founder and chief designer of Miniso said that Vietnam is considered a bridge linking to Southeast Asian market.
As planned, the Japanese-styled store will be opened in nothern cities, including Vinh in Nghe An province, Ha Long in Quang Ninh province, Hai Phong and Viet Tri in Phu Tho province from now until February, 2017; and increase its stores up to 60 in 30 cities and provinces nationwide in 2017.
Miniso expects to open 6,000 stores globally by 2020.
