Nguyen Thi Huynh Giao of the Mekong Delta Province of Ben Tre won the first prize of 2010 Ho Chi Minh City TV’s Master of Ceremonies Contest on August 29.

Huynh Giao, 22, is a student of the Ho Chi Minh City Foreign Trade University, won the highest prize for impressive answer of question of the marriage between Vietnamese women and foreigners and an interesting interview with famous comedian Hoai Linh.
She will receive a cash prize of VND35 million (US$1,750).
Huynh Trung Phong from Ho Chi Minh City got the second place and VND25 million (US$1,250). Phong, 26, is a teacher of the HCMC Physical Education College.
The third positions of VND15 million (US$750) each went to Dang Thi Bich Nga of Ho Chi Minh City and Ho Pham Thanh Giang of the highland province of Gia Lai.
Bich Nga who has just graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Ho Chi Minh National University also enriched her pocket with VND16 (US$800) million from winining the consolation prizes “Most popular contestant,” as voted for by the press jury and “Contestant with the most emotional voice.”
