29 years- old athlete Lam Quang Tri unexpectedly beat 2- 0 against leading player Hoang Thanh Trung to get championship in men’s final round at Vietravel Master Cup 2014.
Although Lam Quang Tri played an unremarkable first set and lost 6/4 , he was better and defeated Hoang Thanh Trung in the second set in order to equalize result in the final round.
In the third set, Tri excellently won a victory of 2- 0 and became champion at Vietravel Master Cup 2014, with a total of prizes worth VND 50 million.
Meanwhile, in the women’s final round, Tran Thi Tam Hao beat competitor Phan Thi Thanh Binh with a victory of 2- 0 and won champion. A total of prizes is worth VND 35 million.
