The 9th Cultural Gong Festival takes place at Dam Rong district in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong on April 24- 25.
More than 500 gong artisans and 12 gong troupes from ethnic minority groups across Lam Dong like K’Ho, Mạ, Churu, M’Nong participated in the event.
During the cultural event, many attractive activities took place such as gong performance, worship beliefs reappearance, gong performance competitions and the traditional folk games.
Last night, in the opening ceremony, the organization board honored 24 outstanding craftsmen in Lam Dong province, who have had great contributions to reserve the gong culture.
