Korea to support Vietnamese small, medium enterprises

The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Support Center (SMEDEC) and the Korean Standards Association (KSA) signed a cooperation agreement on November 13 to support Vietnamese small and medium businesses in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Support Center (SMEDEC) and the Korean Standards Association (KSA) signed a cooperation agreement on November 13 to support Vietnamese small and medium businesses in Ho Chi Minh City.

Accordingly, KSA will help local companies with information on latest technologies to enhance capacity and quality of environment-friendly products.

KSA experts will travel to Vietnam to give training courses on business development in the present competitive environment; and send local enterprise representatives to Korea to learn successful methods to apply in management and production.

SMEDEC, under STAMEQ (Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality-Ministry of Science and Technology) was established in 1991 to support small and medium enterprises.
