Japan presents culinary food fair in City

A food fair featuring Japanese dishes opened at Tokyo Town Restaurant in District 3 in Ho Chi Minh City on September 10.

A food fair featuring Japanese dishes opened at Tokyo Town Restaurant in District 3 in Ho Chi Minh City on September 10.

The event is part of activities with aiming at celebrating the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic ties.

Vietnamese gastronomes will have a chance to enjoy delicious, safe and healthy Japanese dishes.

Visitors will be given two free dishes and drinks in a ‘special menu’ at the Tokyo Town Restaurant, and enjoy cooking instructions for making tofu seaweed soup by culinary cooking expert Nguyen Thi Dieu Thao.

The event is on until September 14 and is being organized by the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries with support from the Consulate General of Japan in HCMC, Japanese Business Association of HCMC and Japan External Trade Organization.
