Rains will last till April 27 in the north and central region.
The center warned the northern region can face hailstones and whirlwinds.
The flood also can appear in the upper reaches of Da and Thao rivers with the flood amplitude about 1m to 1.5m. It is forecast that landslides will hit the high mountainous Northern provinces including Lai Chau, Son La, Dien Bien, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Cao Bang and Lang Son.
The temperature will drop 28 degrees Celsius in the Northern provinces and 20 degrees Celsius at night time.
Rains, scattered thunderstorms will also cover over the south and central highlands provinces in the late afternoon and last until May.
In HCMC, the temperature is around 33 degrees Celsius.
