Hoa Binh Street in front of Dam Sen Cultural Park in District 11 was under knee-deep floodwater, which resulted in traffic chaos and motorcycle engine failure.

Dong Den, Nguyen Hong Dao, Au Co and Bau Cat Streets and surrounding alleys in Tan Binh District were badly submerged.

The above areas have regularly been inundated because rainwater can not flow into Tan Hoa-Lo Gom Canal which has been blocked for a cleanup project.
