While welcoming the delegates, Mr. Hai said he hopes that Khammouan Province will show greater achievements in the future, particularly in the case of poverty reduction.

Governor Khambay Damlat informed his host of the results of his working visit to Vietnam, especially appreciating the help provided by the central provinces to Khammouan in human resource training.

Quang Tri Province has trained more than 500 Khammouan students, while its neighbour Quang Binh has built the first Vietnam-Laos friendship primary school, he said.

According to Governor Khambay Damlat, the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site in Khammouan Province will be inaugurated in December this year. The province will also build a complex of statues of Laos-Vietnam allied troops in the near future.
