HCMC supports Dong Nai Province

Representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, People’s Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday attended the inauguration ceremony of 10 roads in the southern province of Dong Nai with the cost of over VND4 billion (US$181,011) of which VND2.6 billion (US$ 117,657) supported by the city Party Committee.

Representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, People’s Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday attended the inauguration ceremony of 10 roads in the southern province of Dong Nai with the cost of over VND4 billion (US$181,011) of which VND2.6 billion (US$ 117,657) supported by the city Party Committee.

Also from the Party Committee’s fund, Long Thanh District of Dong Nai Province built 52 charity houses each worth VND40 million (US$ 1,810) and fixed 16 other houses for families who were serving in the country’s revolution contributing to improve residents’ lives.

On the occasion, the municipal People’s Committee presented 100 gifts each worth VND500,000 (US$22.6) to social policy families and families in the top welfare brackets in 4 communes in Long Thanh District which are considered as the base for the Party Committee during the wartime.

Major General Nguyen Phi Hung led a group of soldiers of the Ministry of Public Security in the North visited national relic - the War Based D in Vinh Cuu District of Dong Nai Province.

The team offered flowers and incense to revolutionary martyrs in the memorial plaque and gifts each worth VND350,000 (US$ 15.8) to 100 families of wounded soldiers and families with feeble seniors in Ma Da and Phu Ly Communes in Vinh Cuu District.

The team also gave presents to 100 need students each worth VND350,000.
