Hanoi revokes delayed projects

The Ha Noi People's Committee has revoked land-use rights for 13 projects on a total of 13.93 hectares that did not start on schedule despite extensions.

The Ha Noi People's Committee has revoked land-use rights for 13 projects on a total of 13.93 hectares that did not start on schedule despite extensions.

The revoking was suggested by the Hanoi’s Department of Natural Resources and Environment after one year inspecting many projects in the capital.

Deputy Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee Vu Hong Khanh has asked the city's administrators to determinedly cancel projects, which did not the conditions of their land-use certificates as well as work with investors to quicken the construction of on-going projects.

The department also have inspected another 32 long-delayed projects.

According to the inspection, 21 out of 32 projects started the constructions and some had been completed. Another five are awaiting planning adjustment or land clearance process.

Six out of 32 projects with 12.7 hectares have been very slow in implementation.
