NewOpenWorld is running a program to select seven natural wonders of the world and has asked Quang Ninh Province to supply pictures and documents about Ha Long Bay for presenting on the Switzerland-based organization’s website at
www.natural7wonders.com.
Mr. Ngo Hung, head of the bay’s tourism authority, says a representative of NewOpenWorld will travel to Viet Nam to give directions about voting.
The nominations will continue until August 8 next year, after which a panel of judges will create a list of 21candidates from which people worldwide can vote for their favorite wonders of nature.
