German Tenor Martin Lattke performs in Hanoi

A concert featuring the German tenor, Martin Lattke will be held at Hanoi Opera House on February 23-24.

A concert featuring the German tenor, Martin Lattke will be held at Hanoi Opera House on February 23-24.

The performance includes well-known compositions and arias by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, such as The Magic Flute, The Marriage of Figaro and Abduction from the Seraglio.

Under the baton of Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji, Martin Lattke, soprano Dao To Loan and the baritone Vu Manh Dung along with artists of the Vietnamese National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO)  will take music lovers to an enchanted world in which prince Tamino and his friend Papageno have to face all sorts of tests. The show will end with a selection of well-known pieces of the Austrian composer Franz Lehár, amongst others Yours is my Heart Alone or Lips Stay Silent.

German Tenor Martin Lattke was born in 1981 in Saxony. He is co-founder of the Calmus Ensemble Leipzig. The tenor is an ECHO Classic winner and a laureate of international competitions including the first prize at the International Robert Schumann Choir Competition in Zwickau. From 2006 until 2013 he was a member of the renowned vocal soloist ensemble Amarcord. He performed on stages and podiums of major concert halls and music festivals worldwide.
