A German film festival for children and youth will be organized at Kim Dong Cinema in Hanoi from May 25-28.

The film fest will offer free screenings of movies, Lenalove, Enter Of My World, Mullewap – A Beautiful Mess, At Eye Level, Rico, Oskar And The Mysterious Stone, and Prinz Himmelblau Und Fee Lupine, in original German language with Vietnamese and English subtitles.

The event also includes film workshops and discussions that are suitable for every age group to take part in and encourage young audiences to further develop their media literacy as well as contributing to their cultural, creative and personal development.

Florian Gaag, director of “LenaLove”, Alexandra Prochazka, directress of “Auf Augenhöhe” (At Eye Level) as well as Neele Vollmar, directress of “Rico, Oskar und der Diebstahlstein” and Michael Harbauer, festival director and Leona Söhnholz from SCHLINGEL will appear at the event as special guests.

The event is one of the cultural activities marking the “ The European Days in Vietnam 2017” event which has gained a high profile in the cultural life of Vietnamese people since 2004.
