Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Secretary Dinh La Thang yesterday received French Ambassador to Vietnam Jean Noel Poirier.
At the reception, the City's Party Chief expressed his pleasure as Vietnam- France strategic partnership relation has been had more effective development in the previous time via the two countries regularly exchange visits of high-ranking delegations.
Mr. Jean Noel Poirier said that French entrepreneurs especially have kept eye on transportation projects in Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular.
Transportation is one of big challenges for population growth and rapid urbanization in Ho Chi Minh City. Currently, the city has implemented comprehensive solutions contributing to develop and link transportation networks, including investment projects for Metro Routes.
The City's Party Chief also hoped that French entrepreneurs will continue learning and investing into the city’s transportation projects in the upcoming time.
