The 6th free outdoor concert held by the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam called ““J-Music for Brass Band” will take place at the center in Hanoi on June 19-20.
The Hanoi Brass Band will use brass instruments to play masterpieces of the world and Japanese various popular songs in Hanoi Brass Band’s original style and arrangement, such as “Aikagi [Spare Key]” by Mayumi Itsuwa, “Recover Decoration” by Kosaki Onodera (voiced by Kana Hanazawa) from the TV animation program, “Sakura Sake [Cherry Blossoms, Bloom]” by Tanimoto Shin.
Established in 1998, the band includes six professional musicians from Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, hornist Kim Xuan Hieu as the band leader, trombonist Tran Hien (Trombone), Tuba player Le Minh Chieu (Tuba), trumpeters Nguyen Thanh Hai and Pham Van Hieu (Trumpet) and drummer Nghiem Manh Tuan.
