Nguyen Van Cu street in the adjacent of District 1 and District 5, Ly Thai To street in District 10 and Dien Bien Phu in District 3 have tens of spots selling Valentine presents such as teddy bears and fresh rose with few customers dropping by.
Sellers said that most of young people have returned their hometowns to celebrate the Tet Holiday so a few people bought Valentine.
Ngoc Mai, seller in Nguyen Van Cu street, said that she sold nearly 100 teddy bears in the occasion of Valentine’s Day last year but the situation has been gloomy this year.
A rose basket is priced VND150,000-200,000. Da Lat rose prices slightly increases over nomal by VND5,000-7,000 a flower.
