A photo exhibition on voluntary Vietnamese soldiers based in Laos during the last war is being held at the Youth Cultural House in Ho Chi Minh City.
The display presents to viewers 100 photographs taken by journalists like Hong Phuong, Si Binh, Duc Manh, Van Nam, Hai Tan and Tran Cong Tan.
The photos recorded activities of Vietnamese soldiers who served voluntarily in Champasak, Salavan, Sekong and Attapeu Provinces in Laos.
They also reflect the close attachment of the people of Laos to the Vietnamese soldiers.
The event opened on September 12 and marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Laos, and the 35th anniversary of the signing of the Friendship Treaty between the two countries.
