Exhibition celebrates President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday in HCMC

An exhibition of the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh opened in HCMC Book Street on May 18, celebrating the 132nd anniversary of the birthday of Uncle Ho (May 19, 1890-2022) and 110 years since the late President left the country to seek ways for national salvation (June 5, 1911).

The display presents to visitors photos and documents reflecting the glorious revolutionary life and career, and great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh who dedicated his whole life to the cause of national liberation, and for the sake of freedom, democracy, peace and social progress.
The event co-organized by the Department of Information and Communications of HCMC, the Ho Chi Minh Museum-HCMC branch, Vietnam National Archives II in HCMC and publishing houses will run unitl May 22.
It is estimated at least 3,000 people joined the Ao Dai parade yesterday at Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1 within the framework of the 9th Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival in 2023.
