‘Do Re Mi’ children singing contest to air final round

The final round of Do Re Mi, an annual singing contest for children, will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television’s VTV3 channel on July7.

Ten of the selected contestants including Nguyen Khanh Ngoc, Trinh Nhat Minh, Le An Nam, Luu Thi Huong Thao, Ju Uyen Nhi, Do Khanh Nhi, Le Mai Quynh, Rmah Thanh Xuan, Tran Quoc Thai and Pham Mai Ngoc Nhat of ages 6-8 triumphed over thousands of candidates to join the final round.

This year, the 7th singing contest had drawn a large number of children from across the nation, included remote areas such as Ha Giang, Nghe An, Gia Lai and Ca Mau.

Le Tran Nhat Tien, a nine-year-old boy from the northern province of Ha Tinh had won a special cash prize of VND15 million and a trip to Hello Music Land in Melbourne, Australia, with his parents in the last contest.
