Da Lat, nearby areas seek investment in infrastructure, tourism, agriculture

Authorities in Da Lat and surrounding areas, Lam Dong Province are seeking investment in transport and urban infrastructure, housing, high-tech agriculture and quality tourism to unlock local potential and promote sustainable economic growth.

More than 250 representatives attended an investment promotion and attraction conference held on the morning of August 22 by the People's Committees of Xuan Huong-Da Lat, Lam Vien-Da Lat, Xuan Truong-Da Lat, Cam Ly-Da Lat and Lang Biang-Da Lat wards, along with Lac Duong Commune.

At the 2026 conference, local authorities presented their potential, advantages and development orientations, as well as a list of projects seeking investment in tourism, services, the night-time economy, high-tech agriculture and other sectors aligned with Lam Dong Province's socio-economic development strategies.

Investors and businesses also discussed difficulties and obstacles, particularly those related to administrative procedures, financing mechanisms and infrastructure. They proposed solutions to address these issues and create more favorable conditions for investment, production and business activities.

Nguyen Van Loc, Secretary of the Party Committee of Xuan Huong-Da Lat Ward, said that investment attraction should focus not only on mobilizing capital but also on securing high-quality projects with strong implementation capacity.

He said such projects should use resources efficiently, create jobs, raise local incomes, contribute to the budget, protect the environment and support sustainable development.
