Thong Nhat Hospital celebrated the 10th anniversary of its traditional herbal medicine ward, on August 1 in Ho Chi Minh City.
During its 10 year period, the ward has treated more than 100,000 patients suffering from neuron, polio, rheumatoid and stomach diseases.
Doctors at the traditional herbal medicine ward are often applauded by patients for their high quality treatment and excellent approach to patients. Their tremendous achievements have also been acknowledged by the Prime Minister of Vietnam.
The hospital plans to expand the ward from its present 35 beds to a 50 bed facility, to meet an ever growing demand.
