Student Associations of Van Lang University and Ho Chi Minh City hosted a marathon for students at Phu My Hung in Ho Chi Minh City on morning of December 15, to welcome the 9th National Congress of the Vietnamese Student Association.
This year the marathon attracted more than 21,000 students from 40 universities, colleges and vocational training centers in Ho Chi Minh City.
The organizers awarded the first prize to Lan Tran Thi Hoa from University of Pedagogy in Ho Chi Minh City and Tran Quang Vinh from Van Lang University. In addition, the organizers also awarded consolation prizes, including awards for most supportive fans.
This is the 9th year that the Van Lang University has organized this competition with an aim to create a larger platform to share friendly exchanges between students.
