Deputy Standing secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tat Thanh Cang led the delegation this morning to visit two elderly people in District 7 and 8 in the city on occasion of the International Day of Elderly People which falls on October 1.
They include Mr. Lam Van Co, 90, in Phu My Commune of District 7 and Ms Pham Thi Minh, 76, in Ward 12 of District 8.
Mr. Tat Thanh Cang on behalf of the HCMC Party Committee awarded certificate to two elderly people and wished them a good health.
Mr. Cang asked District 8' s leader to pay attention to Ms Minh and repair her house which has been downgraded seriously.
