The 2nd ‘Central Highland Cultural Days’ event opened at the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts in Hanoi on August 28.

The event presents to visitors a comprehensive view of highland culture, the lasting and vehement vitality throughout the region, images of Polang flowers, Konia trees, grandiose falls, Rong commune houses, traditional costumes, musical instruments, production tools and ritual ceremonies.
The event highlights the Central Highlands gong culture -- the most famous heritage that has been recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
This year’s event themed ‘Central Highland-Cultural Colors’ will include a series of cultural activities such as exhibitions and performances of traditional costumes, traditional musical instruments, ritual ceremonies, and folk games.
There will also be seminars on special and diversified cultural values during the festival, which will run until September 2.
The event marks the 67th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day (September 2).
