Central coastal localities’ tourism promoted in Malaysia, Singapore

The central coastal provinces of Quang Nam, Thua Thien Hue, and Da Nang City coordinated with the Vietnam-Malaysia Friendship Association to organize a program promoting Vietnamese tourism in Kuala Lumpur on October 23.

The event which took place at the World Trade Center aims to develop and expand the potential international tourist market as well as promote marketing communication of the Amazing Central Vietnam Heritage program.

The participating localities expect to attract more visitors from Malaysia, Singapore, ASEAN region and see an increase in the number of tourists from other transit markets. They are some of the key international tourism markets of the three localities in the coming time.

At the event, the central coastal provinces of Quang Nam, Thua Thien Hue, and Da Nang City introduced their destinations, new tourist products, and services, and promotional programs of 22 travel businesses to Malaysian partners and visitors.

The event attracted representatives of Malaysian localities, airlines, travel enterprises, and news agencies, along with Vietnamese tourist companies and delegates from Quang Nam, Da Nang, and Thua Thien-Hue.

In addition, Vietnamese localities also joined ITB Asia, Asia's leading travel trade show that will happen from October 25 - 27 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
