The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) January 6 sent its document to airline companies to cut the airfares and have more promotion programs because the fuel jet price reduced much.
CAAV said that in 2015, fuel jet prices have constantly slumped continuously. Accordingly, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) encouraged airlines to cut airfares to help more people travel by air, at a time when fuel jet prices have constantly slumped continuously.
In fact, in reality, airline companies have applied many low airfares for domestic flights as well as launched many promotion programs and gave free-of-charge tickets to passengers in some promotion program.
The fuel jet price continued to be down on December 31, 2015. Therefore, CAAV urged airline companies to continue reducing airfare as well as launching more promotion programs to encourage people to travel by air.
The airline companies must report the launching of cheap airfare and promotion program to CAAV before January 10, said the document.
