The last trading date of AGD shares will be August 27. Earlier, in order to prepare for cancellation, the Chairman of AGD and his relatives continuously bought shares to increase ownership ratio to 36 percent.

Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MBB) announced that in the first half of this year, its pre-tax profit was more than VND1.75 trillion. The bank lent nearly VND80.16 trillion and mobilized VND136.5 trillion and its total asset nearly touched VND174.94 trillion, an increase of 20 percent, 18 percent, and 15 percent, respectively, year-on-year. This year, the bank set pre-tax profit target of VND3.4 trillion and bad debt below 2.5 percent.

Thu Duc Trading & Import Export JSC (TMC) announced that it will close the list of its shareholders on August 9 to advance dividends for the first term of this year in cash at a ratio of 5 percent on September 6. Last year, the company paid dividends at 12 percent. This year, the company plans revenue at VND2.3 trillion, pre-tax profit at VND20 billion, and dividend payout ratio at 12 percent.

Lix Detergent Joint Stock Company (LIX) approved to sell 10 houses at Binh Minh residential area in Vinh Long Province at a price of VND2.4 million per square meter. The company’s six-month-accumulated revenue touched VND714 billion, accounting for 46 percent of this year’s plan, up 6 percent year-on-year, and six-month-accumulated pre-tax profit was at VND47 billion, achieving 55 percent of this year’s plan, up 52 percent year-on-year.

Binh Dinh Minerals Joint Stock Company (BMC) announced that in the second quarter of this year the company saw revenue at VND112.9 billion and post-tax profit at VND18.9 billion, a decrease of 18 percent and 39 percent, respectively, year-on-year. In the first half of this year, revenue touched VND226.7 billion and post-tax profit was at VND42.7 billion, accounting for 54.6 percent and 53.4 percent of this year’s plan, respectively. On August 9, the company will close the list of shareholders to pay dividends for the third term of 2012 at a ratio of 20 percent and for the first term of this year at a ratio of 15 percent.

Na Loi Hydropower Joint Stock Company (NLC) announced that in the second quarter of this year, its post-tax profit was at VND1.5 billion, a drop of 58.3 percent year-on-year, as revenue fell while cost price increased. The company’s six-month-accumulated revenue hit VND20.9 billion, accounting for 53 percent of this year’s plan, and six-month-accumulated post-tax profit touched VND3.9 billion, accounting for 37 percent of this year’s plan.

Art Design and Communication JSC (ADC) announced that it will close the list of shareholders on August 8 to pay dividends by shares at a ratio of 10:1 and issue 400,000 shares at a ratio of 10:4 at a price of VND10,000 per share. Time period for transfer of share purchase rights is from August 22 to September 12 and time period for share purchase registration is from August 22 to September 20. In the second quarter of this year, ADC got revenue of VND17.6 billion, and post-tax profit of VND32 million.
