The British rock group Rubylux is set to play in Ho Chi Minh City March 5 as part of Hard Rock Café’s “March on Stage” event this month.
The band will perform songs from their first album “Don’t Forget,” to be released in June. Rubylux rose to popularity after the debut of their first hit, “Screaming Surrender.”
Vietnamese singers including Pham Anh Khoa, Thao Trang, and the band Microwave, will join Rubylux onstage at the Hard Rock Café March 11, 18, 25 and 26.
Half of all proceeds from the performances will be donated to Saigon Children's Charity and Thang Long Vocational School.
Established three years ago, Rubylux comprises four members including vocalist and guitarist Rob Humfreys, bass guitarist Clark Coslett-Hughes, keyboardist Adam Harris, and drummer Mike Hall.
Tickets are available for VND150,000 (US$8) at the Hard Rock Café, Kumho Asiana Plaza, 39 Le Duan Street District 1, HCMC.
