British composer Michael Price to lecture to music composition course

The UK's most composer, Michael Price who won the EMMY award in 2014 for the music for the BBC TV series, Sherlock will travel to Vietnam for a music composition course.

The workshops on music will be open for 15 participants, including Vietnamese students, young composers, and film producers at Salon Saigon, from May 8 to 12.

The English award-winning musician will also give a talk and a screening at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music on May 10.

Michael Price aso received awards from the Royal Television Society, Music & Sound, and Televisual Bulldog; BAFTA nominations and Emmy nominations for the critically acclaimed BBC series Sherlock, which he scores with David Arnold.He has currently carried out projects, including the second season of crime drama Unforgotten and the fourth season of Sherlock (with David Arnold).

Michael enjoyed significant achievements as a music editor with films like Peter Jackson's trilogy The Lord of the Rings (2001), Richard Curtis' Love Actually (2003), Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (2004) and Nanny McPhee (2005). As a music editor, Michael has been nominated for 4 MPSE Golden Reel Awards, winning in 2001 for The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001).
