Rain (also known as Bi), a South Korean pop star as well as actor, will appear in the S-Fone Forever 2006 concert, which will be organized at 7p.m. on June 8, 2006 at the Military Zone 7 Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate the nationwide-coverage that S-Fone, a mobile phone network, has achieved.

Bi will perform five Korean songs and one in English. Besides, there are other South Korean famous singers such as female singer Chae Yeon; the Jewelry band who performed in Viet Nam on “U_Nite 06” Show on January 14; MB Crew (B-Boy), a famous dancing crew; and Vietnamese singers My Tam, Dam Vinh Hung, Hien Thuc and MTV band.

Bi and most singers will end the concert with the song of We are the world or We are the champion. An audience of about 20,000 are expected to see the concert.

Bi/Rain, the South Korean king of pop, is one of rare popular Asian singers who have great effects in the world’s entertainment industry and was chosen as one of the 100 People “Who Shape Our World” by Time magazine. The 23 year old has been one of the most popular South Korean artists in Asia.

He is the face of pop globalism, has ridden the Korean wave, the Asia-wide obsession for that country's pop culture. Bi is the first Asian singer who held two shows entitled "Rainy Day in New York" on February 2-3, 2006 at Madison Square Garden, New York. Both nights were sold out.

Bi’s real name is Ji Hoon Jung, was born on June 25, 1982. He has a deep and rich voice, and amazing dancing skills, which was well-known as R&B and Korean pop music with attractive performing style.

Bi has also taken part in roles of TV films, such as Let’s go to school, Sangdoo; Fullhouse; A love to kill, etc. 

He received a series of awards in the South Korean and Asian countries, such as the 2004 “KBS Daesang Award” in Korea, the MTV Asia Grand Slam, the “Favorite Artist of Korea” from the 2005 MTV Asia Aid held in Bangkok, “Popular Asian Artist Award” from Channel [V] Thailand, the “Best Buzz Asia Award” during the MTV Japan Video Music Award 2005, the “Best Korean Singer” award in the MTV-CCTV Mandarin Music Honors in Bejing, etc.
