The concert titled “Idol Music Event 2011” will take place at Military Zone No.7 Stadium and Giang Vo Exhibition Center in Hanoi.

Vietnamese singers Dam Vinh Hung, Ho Ngoc Ha, Tuan Hung, Ngo Thanh Van, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Bao Thy, the 365, V. Music bands and the winner and the first runner-up of Vietnam Idol 2010 Uyen Linh and Van Mai Huong will join the event.

David James Archuleta, 21 became popular after winning as the first runner up in the seventh season of American Idol 2008.

Archuleta released his first single "Crush" in August 2008. The album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart and has sold over 750,000 copies in the U.S and more than 900,000 worldwide.

His latest album ‘The Other Side of Down’ was launched last October.

After his performance in Vietnam, the American pop singer-songwriter will fly to Malaysia for a concert on July 26.
