The Ho Chi Minh City-based University of Science, VinAI Research and Vantix Technology Company yesterday jointly organized a scientific seminar “AI - From research to application”.
The event saw the participation of experts in the field of AI in universities and software companies including Deputy President of the National University in HCMC Associate Professor Vu Hai Quan with report “ 20 years of Vietnamese spoken language processing: Research and achievements" and Deputy President of University of Nature Associate Professor Tran Minh Triet with report "Vision-based technologies for human-centered AI applications".
It is projected that AI will be applied in all fields and by 2030, AI will contribute additional $15,7 trillion to the global economy. Specifically, in 2019, 40 percent of initiatives in digital field will be used AI.
