The upgrading will be conducted in the phase from now until 2025.
Of these, Cat Bi International Airport will complete a system of parallel taxiways with the total capital of VND900 billion ($40 million).
In addition, the company will build new runways in 2018 and terminals and hangars with the capacity of four million passengers a year, which is able to expand to six million, with the total funds of VND2.7 trillion.
In 2017-2018, ACV is expected to invest VND165 billion in Chu Lai International Airport to raise terminal capacity to 1.5-1.8 million passengers a year. In the following phase from 2018-2021, the company plans to spend an extra of VND5.5 trillion to build new runways, terminals and aprons with the capacity of five million passengers a year.
About VND2,650 billion will be spent on Phu Bai International Airport to increase terminal capacity to four million passengers a year, construct parallel taxiways and three new aprons and purchase new equipment and devices to improve flight management ability to 20 flights an hour.
