His mother wanted to support Nguyen Van Huong scholarship program for medicine students when she was alive.
Following the newspaper’s charitable activities, Mr. Khoi said that his family will continue sponsoring these activities including giving scholarships to disadvantaged but good medicine students; building charity houses for beneficiaries of welfare policy and residents in distant districts in border crossings and islands; and operations for children with heart diseases.
On behalf of the newspaper, Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Tan Phong thanked for Mr. Khoi’s kind acts, promising that the amount will be used properly as per the family’s wish. Mr. Phong expected that Mr. Khoi’s family will join hand to contribute to the newspaper’s charitable activities.
