In the framework of the ASEAN+3 Young Entrepreneurs Forum on December 13 in Ho Chi Minh City, 13 entrepreneurs of 13 participant nations were presented a prize named Young Entrepreneurs towards sustainable growth.
Speaking at the forum, Pham Phuong Chi, deputy chairwoman of the Viet Nam Youth Federation cum Secretary on Foreign Affairs of the Vietnam National Committee on Youth, the laureates are founders of a company or start-ups.
Their companies have contributed to creating jobs for young people, helping young people to start up a business, education, medicine, social services, and having environmentally-friendly products.
The ASEAN+3 Young Entrepreneurs Forum from December 11 to 14 is held by the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam in collaboration with the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation.
The event saw the participation of 65 young entrepreneurs, young leaders, and officials from the ASEAN+3 cooperation mechanism, which includes 10 ASEAN countries and Japan, China and South Korea.
