MELBOURNE, Jan 29, 2010 (AFP) - Second seeds Venus and Serena Williams won the Australian Open women's doubles title when they beat the top-ranked Cara Black of Zimbabwe and American Liezel Huber 6-4, 6-3 on Friday.
It was their second Australian Open crown in a row, having also won last year, and their fourth overall.
The sisters have now won 11 Grand Slam doubles titles, a good omen for Serena who plays Justine Henin in the women's singles final on Saturday.
Both pairs had almost identical winning records over the early rounds but the Williams' dominated the final and eased to a comfortable win.
