Vietnam Airlines announced on May 30 that it would launch a flight route between Hanoi to Taiwan's Kaohsiung City on June 17, with three flights per week on Airbus A321 aircraft.
The flight will leave Hanoi at 6:30 pm and reach Kaohsiung at 7:35 (local time) with flight duration of two and a half hours.
This is the fourth direct flight from Vietnam to Taiwan, raising the number of flights to 28 per week.
A promotional inaugural flight will be organized at pre-tax rates of around VND8million (roughly US$385) for 1,400 seats.
