State President of Vietnam Tran Dai Quang received Editor in Chief of Japan’s Kyodo News Agency Masaki Fukuyama at Presidential Palace in Hanoi yesterday.

President Quang stressed that Vietnam and Japan has had political stability, similar culture, and maintained cooperation achievements in previous time. The factors are considered as a sound foundation as well as strong motivation to deepen the Vietnam- Japan partnership relations.
For the upcoming cooperation plan between Vietnam and Kyodo News Agencies, President Tran Dai Quang suggested the two agencies need to strengthen further information introduction about country, culture and people each other, contributing to prove cooperation potentialities, and deepen understanding and belief between two countries’ people.
The two news agencies need to timely provide exact, comprehensive and objective information related to achievements of Vietnam- Japan relations, bilateral cooperation and strategic partnership ties.
