Vietnamese model among top ten at ‘Mr. World 2013’ contest

Vietnamese male model Truong Nam Thanh was ranked among the top 10 at the Mr. World 2013 contest in Kent County Showground in Kent in England on November 25.

Thanh also won the ‘Mr. Fashion & Style Challenge’ title at the above contest. 
 
Colombia’s Francisco Javier Escobar Parra was crowned ‘Mr. World 2013’ while Philippines’ Andrew James Penaflorida Wolff and Ireland’s Leo Delaney were crowned first and second runner-up, respectively.
 
First held in 1996, the event has seen the participation of 48 contestants from countries across the world this year.

Thanh is in his final year at the HCMC College of Dramatic Arts. In 2010, he participated in the Vietnam Supermodel Contest, winning the Best Body prize and making it to the top 10.
 
He also won the ‘Model Star 2011’ held by PL Modeling Agency in HCMC.
 
Last October, Thanh won the third runner-up title at the Manhunt International modeling contest held in Seoul in South Korea.
