Vietnamese American Music Festival 2015 opened

Vietnamese American Music Festival 2015 will be held at the Grand Concert Hall in the Vietnam National Academy of Music in Hanoi on August 20 and 22.

The international chamber players and Fantasmi baroque ensemble will perform in the Baroque concert on August 20. Meanwhile the international chamber players and artists of Vietnam National Academy of Music will present romantic musical works.

Honna Tetsuji, Japanese music director and principal conductor of the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra; Dutch flutist and composer Paul Leenhouts, director of the Early Music Department and the UNT Baroque Orchestra at the University of North Texas; and Cynthia Roberts, one of America’s leading performers on the Baroque violin will join the concert.

The event will also give the appearances of Vietnamese artists, namely violonists Bui Cong Duy and Chuong Vu, pianist Nguyen Manh Duy Linh, cellist Nguyen Hong Anh and others.
Admission tickets will be from VND200,000-VND500,000.
