The Ministry of Industry and Trade has approved 177 national trade promotion programs launched by 67 agencies with a total cost of VND90 billion (US$4.05 million), announced the National Trade Promotion Program Management Board.
Practical and feasible trade promotion activities will be carried out early this year to broaden export market, focusing on Trans-Pacific Partnership attendees such as the U.S., Canada, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand.
They will also pay attention to nations under EU Vietnam Free Trade Agreement such as France, Germany, Belgium, Italia and Poland and those under the ASEAN Economic Community like Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar and Eurasian Economic Union.
In addition, the 177 programs will also develop local market especially in rural, mountainous and border areas and disadvantageous localities, contributing to the effective implementation of the campaign ‘Vietnamese give priority to consumption of Vietnamese goods” launched by the Politburo of the CPV.
