Vietnam models to compete in international contest

Khieu Thi Huyen Trang, the winner of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2010 contest and male model Ngoc Tinh, winner of Vietnam Super Model Competition 2010, will travel to Plovdiv in Bulgaria to compete in the 23rd Best model of the world contest from July 23 to 30.

21 year old Trang is a beautiful 1.78m tall model from the northern province of Bac Giang. She gave an outstanding performance on the final night of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2010 contest. She is currently modeling for many domestic newspapers and some local and international clothing brands.

Male model Ngoc Tinh, 23, is student of the HCM Academy of Theatre and Cinema. He also won the first prize at a martial arts competition in 2011.

The Best Model of the World Contest has attracted more than 1,000 professional models from 136 countries around the world.

Famous models like Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Katoucha,  actress Sophia Loren, designer Yves Saint Laurent will take part in the event.

Established in 1987 in Istanbul in Turkey, the competition aims to search for the most desirable model for advertising and the film industry.

The contest will be staged at the same venue where the latest collections by top fashion brands are presented.

The final round of the 23rd Best Model of the World will take place at the Ancient Roman Theatre in the old city of Plovdiv in Bulgaria.
