Vietnam Airlines will be the official flag carrier for Hue Festival 2014.
So far 40 art troupes from 31 international countries and territories have officially registered to participate in the event from April 12-20, according to even organizers. Vietnam has more than 20 art troupes participating in the event.
Art troupes participating include musical group Sururu Na Roda from Brazil, drum ensemble Batiholic from Japan, and Palestinian folk dance group Al Asayel.
Authorities will be upgrading transportation infrastructure to manage high traffic and also ease prices of public transportation during the event.
Tour promotions will be offered to attract more visitors. The event organizers expect the festival will receive 100,000 attendees.
