Accordingly, the carrier will launch two direct flights from Hanoi to Jakarta, departing from Hanoi at 9.50 a.m. on August 27 and leave Jakarta at 12.20 a.m. (local time) on August 28; and an additional flight from HCM City to Jakarta, departing from Tan Son Nhat Airport at 11.20 a.m. on August 27 and take off in Jakarta at 12.30 a.m. on August 28. The flight will be served by Airbus A321 aircarft.
Vietnam Airlines has also cooperated with travel companies in Hanoi, Da Nang and HCM City to offer one day package tour on August 27 inclduing return airfare, ticket for the quarterfinal match, tour guide, transport, all meals and drinks during the trip.
The Viet Nam Olympic team will meet Syria in the next match on August 27.
In addition, the carrier announced that it will increase 32 flights during the Vietnam National Day holidays (September 2) from August 31 to September 3, providing 6,500 more seats to meet the high demand on routes, such as Hanoi-Da Nang/Quy Nhon/Phu Quoc; HCM City-Quy Nhon/Nha Trang/Phu Quoc/Da Lat. The total number of seats during the period will be more than 151,000 seats.
