Two young dancers Dang Quan and Bao Ngoc won the ‘Vietnam's Got Talent 2011’ competition that ended at the Lan Anh Theatre in Ho Chi Minh City on May 6.

The two talented young dancers triumphed over three others, including opera singer Nguyen Huong Thao, young singer Vu Song Vu from Hai Phong and English teacher cum singer Vo Trong Phuc. The duo received a cash prize of VND400 million (US$19,000).
The competition which began in September 2011 was the first season of ‘Vietnam’s Got Talent’, and attracted thousands of contestants from across the country.
The programme gives a chance for people of all age groups to turn their dreams into reality. They can showcase their talent by singing, dancing, performing magic and other forms of creative art performances.
Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc, former model Thuy Hanh and musician Huy Tuan were the jury members for the TV show that was organised by VTV3, Media Com Vietnam BHD and P&G Vietnam.
