Da Nang terminal at the Da Nang International Airport became operational on December 25.

The terminal has three-storey and one basement covering an area of 14,400sq.m. It was built at a cost of about VND1.3 trillion (US$62.5 million) and will meet standards set by the International Aviation Transport Association (IATA).
The terminal will service 4-6 million passengers per year.
Da Nang International Airport receives the third largest number of passengers visiting Vietnam. The airport has so far received 11,400 flights carrying 3 million passengers a year.
Another new terminal at Buon Ma Thuot Airport in the Central highland province of Dak Lak opened on December 24.
The VND300 billion-terminal is built on a total area of 7,175sq.m and will receive about one million passengers per year.
Buon Ma Thuot Airport operates flights to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang and Vinh. The airport is expected to receive more than 400,000 passengers next year.
