Model Truong Nam Thanh will take part in the ‘Manhunt International Contest 2011’ that will be held in Seoul in Korea from September 28 to October 11.
The 20 year-old model is a student of the Ho Chi Minh City College of Stage and Cinema. He won the “Best Body” title in ‘Vietnam Super Model Contest 2010’ and the Gold Prize at the ‘Model Star Contest 2011’.
He has also taken part in some feature films and TV serials that will be screened by the end of this year.
Fashion designers Long Dung and Chung Thanh Phong will sponsor the outfits such as formal tuxedos, traditional costumes and casual wear for the model to wear during the competition.
Thanh is presently updating his knowledge of the land, people and culture of the Republic of Korea. He is also spending time to practice English and the Korean language.
Vietnamese model Ngo Tien Doan, selected as Mister International 2008, won the title of “Best Body” at the ‘Manhunt International Contest 2007’. Model Nguyen Van Thinh was adjudged first runner-up, voted via the Internet at the ‘Manhunt International Contest 2008’.
The ‘Manhunt Contest’ was launched in 1987 in Singapore and became an international event in 1993.
